Randy’s Recipe – Easy Peasy Lasagna


Serves 10-12


2lbs 90% or 80% Ground Beef (I use 80%)

2lbs. Italian Sausage, Mild

3 Jars Rios Meat Sauce (the large ones if possible)

1 pkg. Non-cook Lasagna Noodles

16 oz Cottage Cheese

8 oz. Parmesan Cheese, graded

1/2 c. Red wine

2 t. Sugar

Salt and Pepper to taste

Few drops Tabasco Sauce



Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

Brown and drain beef and sausage

Placed cooked meat back in pan

Add Rios Meat Sauce, Red Wine, Sugar, Salt & Pepper

How to assemble:

Using a Lasagna dish or a 10×13 Aluminum pan, spray dish or pan with olive oil


  1. Sauce to cover the bottom
  2. Noodles
  3. Cottage Cheese
  4. Sauce
  6. Parmesan Cheese on Top


I like to do 3 layers but it is usually just two

Bake 350 degrees for 2 hours

Serve with Salad and Garlic Bread.
