AC Supply is proud to share an important new chapter in our company’s story.
After 52 years of dedicated service, Randy Boyd has announced his retirement. Randy’s history with AC Supply is deeply woven into the company’s legacy. AC Supply was founded in 1959 by Randy’s father, Bill Boyd, and Randy officially began his career with the company in 1974.
Over the decades, Randy helped carry forward the values his father built the company on: relationships, trust, service, and a genuine commitment to helping contractors succeed. Under his leadership, AC Supply grew into a trusted name in the HVAC industry and a company known not only for products and inventory, but for people, partnership, and family values.
Randy’s impact extended well beyond AC Supply. In 2008, he served as President of HARDI, representing the HVACR wholesale distribution industry on a national level and further demonstrating his commitment to advancing the trade.
AC Supply Joins Robert Madden Industries
As Randy begins this well-deserved next chapter, AC Supply is also beginning a new chapter of its own. AC Supply has been acquired by Robert Madden Industries, a respected HVAC distributor with deep Texas roots and a strong reputation for customer service, product knowledge, and contractor support.
Robert Madden Industries is excited to expand further into the Tarrant County market and continue building on the strong foundation AC Supply has established.
For AC Supply customers, this transition means you can expect the same people, same service, and same family values that have always been at the heart of our company. It also means access to expanded resources and a larger equipment offering designed to better support contractors across the market.
Location Update
Moving forward, AC Supply operations will continue through our Arlington, Westside, and North Fort Worth locations.
The 100 Page Avenue location will close at the end of the business day this Friday (May 8th).
Customers can continue working with the familiar AC Supply team members they know and trust at our remaining locations.

While this is a meaningful transition, the heart of AC Supply remains the same. Our customers can expect familiar faces, dependable service, and a continued commitment to helping HVAC contractors succeed.
